Caritas: LONG WALK FOR WATER Project Compassion 2026 has officially launched. This year, Project Compassion shares four stories from around the world. We’ll meet Sisilia from Tanzania, Monoranjon from Bangladesh, Manaini from Fiji and Ahmad from Gaza. Each of these stories highlights unique challenges, yet they are united by the determination to rise above adversity and to build brighter, more hopeful futures for themselves, their families and their communities.
Like every year, St Brendan’s Lakes Entrance and St Colman’s Orbost Parishes are taking part in Caritas Australia’s Project Compassion Boxes and Envelopes, Parish Ministry Groups, families and individuals are invited to register for the Long Walk for Water with caritas Australia.
This year the Parish has also set up an online fundraising page. Any support you offer will help transform lives, increase access to clean water, education, healthcare, vital emergency support and more.
